- THE 30K CHALLENGE ........this blog is the diary of my pursuit of a net profit of £30,000 derirved with the help of 3 tipping services namely isiris , mark holder and optimum racing i shall attempt to supplement this income with personal trading from 7th jan to the 31st dec 2007. My father was a bookmaker ,aged 10 i would spend my saturday afternoons knocking out the losing bets and placing winning ones in a pile to be settled , at 15 i was a floorman oncourse at weekends on the southern racetracks and a year later this progressed to walthamstow dogs where my dad had a pitch . As my dad sold his bookmaking business i went up to the city originally in the back office but after a year i was in the dealing room and was a f/x dealer for 17 years before being made redundant in june2002 , since then i have been arbing on the betting exchanges and gambling with the assistance of the 3 services mentioned ......... LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN !

Terrefic news DD, i was an avid reader of the 30k challenge, best blog around for my money, a touch of humour but plenty of reality detailing the stresses & strains of punting for a living. Do you still use Optimum, Mark Holder & Isiris ??? Good luck and roll on the 1st Jan Regards dr feelgood :-)
