A profit on the day.........

on a quiet one, with the premiership providing some good news and profitability on what has been a disappointing end to the week. Optimum were spot on in opposing Paco Boy but Pressing was not the answer, but i have confidence that normal service will be resumed, i have made decent profits over time with the service and the recent poor run has not dented my confidence that this will continue.

I too am a subscriber of optimum. How come you have so much faith in them? At about 60 odd points down for the year they need to perform well just to break even. 1 winner in about 30 selections does not inspire any confidence with many going down at between 2 and 3/1. I am thinking of giving up on them!

hi stevieboy........ i have just had a recap of my £30k challenge blog for 2007 on the 20th May 2007 i was in deficit with OPTIMUM to the tune of £5876, this was to £100 stakes, at the end of 2007 reaching a decent profit of £5760 on the year i wrote the following on the analysis of my year ;

OPTIMUM RACING

A definite positive in 2007 was optimum racing , i admit i was not saying this earlier on in the year as the service struggled , and yes i did cut my stakes but i just felt i had to do some firefighting so to speak , part of the early struggle i feel was andrew starting up his own service as previously he was with mark holder , and he had to combine the pressure of advising and running a business . But wow did he turn around the p/l in the second half of the year , andrew concentrates on chases and also runs syndicates under the optimum banner with city affair being the flagbearer so far improving and wining 3 races on the trot in august and has been raised 25lb since coming under the care of tim vaughan , a trainer to note in 2008 .

That was copied word for word, so i have been here before and have upmost confidence in OPTIMUM turning the year around, it wont be easy and i totally understand members concern and i realise we cannot keep harping back to the misfortune during the NH season but keep the faith i have every confidence that your persverence will be rewarded come the end of 2008, thanks for the email regards DD.
